WASHINGTON – Six additional Senators today voiced support for the comprehensive New Energy Reform Act of 2008, or ‘New ERA,’ an energy proposal to reduce gas prices, lessen our nation’s dependence on foreign oil, and strengthen America’s economy.

On August 1, 2008, I joined a bipartisan group of 10 Senators to unveil a comprehensive bipartisan energy plan that focuses on increased domestic production, increased energy efficiency, and improved conservation in order to reduce the price of gas and secure our energy future.
